Super short post– I just spent my writing time bathing Boo, my shih-tzu, for like the 10th time in a few months.
We have fleas. They aren’t in the carpet or the bedding or anything (thankfully), and the other dogs never got them very bad (each had a few on them, but their medications and collars did the trick). Poor Boo has had 4 recurrences, though, and she’s not an outside dog.
I’m so confused. I just had to trim her significantly to try to get all the fleas off her. She’s all bit up underneath. I feel bad for her. But I don’t GET it. How are they withstanding her medication, and the flea shampoo, and how is she getting them IN THE HOUSE?
Are they hitching a ride on Cody, drunk on his flea meds, then leaping on to Boo just before they die so they can raise stunted flea children?
I hope this finally gets them all off her, but I’m so, so puzzled. The poor little thing. She doesn’t deserve this level of torment.
