Day 67: Wrestlemania Week V: The New Day

I have always pulled for diverse wrestlers. Koko B Ware. Junk Yard Dog. Ron Simmons.

But I really, really enjoyed the work of Kofi Kingston in particular. He was tag partners with CM Punk at one point, but he really showed what he could do this night, when he took on Randy Orton (or Randy’s car, actually):

Another amazing wrestler of color is Austin Creed AKA Consequences Creed AKA Xavier Woods. He wasn’t getting anywhere in WWE, so he started this:

Add in Big E Langston, one of the most talented big men in years, and you have The New Day. Started as a group that specifically wanted to try to get their chance in a company that kept them down, New Day morphed into the evolution of the three men’s personalities. And that is simply delightful.

Instead of explaining why New Day Rocks, I’m just going to offer up a series of videos. Let the show you why they’re amazing. They will be hosting Wrestlemania this weekend.

And for Julie, a Make Up tutorial with my boy Xavier!
